Growing up in Brixton, I’ve always deeply loved and appreciated everything that makes brixton vibrant and unique. That passion inspired me to start this blog, where I could share the stories and the spirit that make Brixton special. As a Brixtonian i want to celebrate the individuals and initiatives that shape our community’s identity and contribute to its rich cultural capital.
Each week, we want to delve into not just what's happening in Brixton but stories of those making a difference in Brixton, whether through business, art, music, or community work. It’s about highlighting the voices that might otherwise go unheard but undeniably add to what makes Brixton the cultural heartbeat it is today.
If you are doing something in Brixton, for Brixton, or with Brixton at its heart, I want to hear from you! Reach out to me, and let’s bring your story to the forefront of the Brixton Culture Capital blog. Together, we can continue celebrating this remarkable place's authentic spirit.
