Where to Spend Valentine’s in Brixton (Dinner, Wine, Beer, Bass, Dance)
Valentine’s in Brixton can be whatever mood you’re in.
It could be a candlelit table at La Nonna or Francina Trattoria, if Italian is your love language—handmade pasta, good olive oil, and a bottle shared slowly. If you’re in the mood for something more bistro-style, La Nonna brings that relaxed, neighbourhood energy that is intimate, unfussy, and perfect for lingering.
Staying in, but still want something special? Pick up a bottle from Bottle & Rye or Vining Street Wine Club on Atlantic Road. Here you can find natural wines, low lighting, and the kind of bottles that turn a simple night at home into an occasion.
More of a cocktail couple? Finch, Canova Hall, or Henge will have your mouth tingling and the evening moving.
More of a beer lover? Keep it local. Head to Supercute Taproom or their Brewhouse in Loughborough Junction for something small-batch and brewed down the road. They’re pouring “Kissy Kissy Me” (a cherry sour) for £5 this Valentine’s. If that’s not for you, there’s also a beer called “Nobody Loves You,” which feels like emotional honesty in a pint glass.
Want something louder? Hold hands in the crowd. You’re single? Let the bass do the flirting. Scroll down for this weekend’s picks.
