Autumn officially begins on 22nd September. But whether you’re clinging to Summer or embracing the change, Brixton is the place to be. Munch a picnic in Brockwell Park in the last of the sun, take a dip in Brockwell Lido before it gets too cold, sip a drink on a rooftop while it’s still light, or catch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice at the Ritzy if you’re just ready for it to be spooky season already.
Wherever you’re going, whatever you’re doing, do it with a little bit of love in your heart for your neighbour. Because that’s how we roll in Brixton.
Try Something New in Brixton 💃
We don’t know about you, but we have major back-to-school energy.
Whether it’s a dance class, a book club, a fitness group or something off-the-wall completely, you’ll find it in Brixton. So broaden your horizons and try something new!
Monday: Kick Monday in the butt with a beginner’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. This seriously cool martial art will build your strength in no time.
Tuesday: Whether you’re a complete beginner or the next Van Gogh, there’s space for you at the Brixton Life Drawing class.
Wednesday: Spice up your week with a salsa and bachata class! Whether you’re a newbie or a beginner, you’re welcome to this class.
Thursday: It’s never too late to go back to school. High Trees offer a ton of classes — and they do maths on a Thursday.
Friday: No one said learning had to be dry. Head down to Pacifica and book yourself in for a mixology class. Bottoms up!
